Hey Mike.

Just wanted to say thanks for the awesome defenseman camp in Regina last week. Not only were the drills good, but the competition to be good was also awesome. I have spent a lot of money over the years on hockey camps for Jarod, but I have to say that at your camp every drill was obviously relevant to playing D and neither the players or the spectators were ever left scratching their heads wondering where you were going with a drill. In addition to the great coaching, Jarod also said working with some high end kids was a real motivator. Thanks again and Jarod looks forward to working with you again next summer. Hopefully for more than one week.

This camp is awesome. Billy thoroughly enjoyed the camp and will be back next year. He absolutely would have signed up for the Moose Jaw camp but he is in Ontario at that time participating in the National Box Lacrosse Tournament. If you are doing more than one camp next year, I'm sure Billy will want to participate in both. We help him plan out his summer hockey camps and powerskating a little early to ensure that he gets in so if you have a mailing list that you send out early to inform players of open registration I know Billy would appreciate an email. He'll link up to your website and stay on top of things, otherwise.

Billy realizes that the off-season training is incredibly important to reaching his hockey goals and specificity in his training is key. The drills at this D-camp are relevent and challanging and help him to focus on skills not always taught during the regular season. These drills have also proven to Billy how important skating is to hockey so continuing to powerskate with Brent Bobyck is high priority. Thanks again, Mike. Whitney absolutely enjoyed the camp. She was relieved to find out that she was shooting off the wrong foot and that was all she had to do to fix it. She had fun, learned a lot and is in much better condition going into the try out camp. Thanks for working with her.

Mike's D camp was exactly what I needed heading into the U17 camp in Notre Dame. Being able to focus directly on the responsibilities of a defenseman helped me prepare physically and mentally. Mike's drills where challenging throughout the whole week which help me get "game ready". I recommend Mike's camp to anyone that wants to improve and prepare throughout the summer for the upcoming season.

I thought your camp was exactly what my son needed he was challenged each drill and at every session. The drills you had the players doing were all game related, if I had anything to add it would be that you were helping coach his winter team so he could get more D-man work through his practices. Thanks for working with Austin this past summer we will be signing up for the 2011 camp ASAP.

I participated in Mike’s D camp this past summer. In the past I have attended lots of hockey and power skating schools but this one was focused on defensemen. The drills we did were new to me and were very specific to playing defence. Most other hockey schools are focused on forward’s and skills associated with that position. With Mike’s camp the drills we did are very specific and are transferable to game situations. Many of the guys that attended where WHL draft picks and other high end prospects who also really liked the camp and its focus on defensemen.
